Dry July is over!

Dry July is over!

After a tough month for many, Dry July is over.

But it’s not too late to support the WA Mining Club’s efforts supporting cancer care organisation SolarisCare.

The WA Mining Club was proud to support the Perth-based cancer care organisation with two committee members forgoing alcohol during Dry July.

Craig Franklin and Kirsty Danby both signed up to the annual fundraising event to support the organisation and have, collectively, raised more than $2,500.

SolarisCare is a not-for-profit organisation focused on improving the lives of cancer patients and their carers by providing the support to cope with emotional and physical side effects of cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery. Its Cancer Support Centres offer free vital support services to adult cancer patients across the state, providing over 9,000 free complementary therapy treatments each year.

It’s not too late to get behind Kirsty and Craig’s efforts – donations are still accepted through the Dry July website until the end of August.
