Held as our first event for the year, we invite mining operators, analysts, financiers to share their professional views and insights on what the coming year is likely to bring for the mining industry.
Sally-Anne Layman was appointed to the role of Non-Executive Director of Perseus in September 2017.
Ms Layman, who holds both a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining (Hons) is also Chairperson of Perseus’ Audit and Risk Committee and a member of its Remuneration Committee.
Ms Layman is a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee for listed mining technology company, Imdex Limited, and a Non-Executive Director of West Australian-focused gold miner, Gascoyne Resources Limited. Before retiring from executive roles in 2016, Ms. Layman spent 15 years working for the leading Australian investment Bank Macquarie Limited, with her most recent role being Division Director and Joint Head of the Perth office for the Metals, Mining and Agriculture Division.

Liam has over 30 years of experience in the fields of investment banking and corporate finance. After starting his career as a professional footballer with Swindon Town FC in the UK and working in the 1980’s for corporate raiders Robert Holmes a Court and Alan Bond, in 1994 Liam moved into investment banking and he established Macquarie Bank’s Bullion and Commodities division in Perth. In 1997 Liam was recruited to head up Bankers Trust’s investment banking activities in Western Australia. Following the sale of Bankers Trust Australia Limited in 1999, Liam became a founding principal of PCF Capital Group, a WA based corporate advisory and investment banking business.
He is Chairman of MinesOnline.com, Executive Chairman of FutureGold, a Non- Executive Director of Gold Corporation (The Perth Mint) and a Non-Executive Director of Solgold Plc.

Nicki Ivory leads the Financial Advisory team in Western Australia and is WA Mining Leader. She has over 20 years’ professional experience in Australia and South Africa providing valuation advice, including independent expert reports and other non-public valuations.
