Resources has delivered its flagship DeGrussa copper project on
time and on budget, enabling it to make a stunning transition
from explorer to producer in less than three years.

Australia’s major daily newspapers summed up its impressions
of Sandfire Resources’ DeGrussa copper project after visiting the
site as part of a group of around 80 fund managers, analysts,
brokers, bankers and media on their way to the annual Diggers
and Dealers Conference in Kalgoorlie.
The same reporter and many others in the group had made the
trip one year before, and were clearly impressed by the stunning
progress with development and construction of the $390 million
copper mine. Sandfire received the prestigious ‘Digger of the
Year’ award at the Kalgoorlie forum just days later.
