are averaging 4,000 to 5,000 ounces per month and are
sourced from three open pits at 2.0g/t Au and historic low-
grade stockpiles.
Nearby to the Murchison project is the Eelya Complex,
which is prospective for gold and base metals. A high-grade
copper-gold discovery has already been made at the Hollandaire
deposit, which contains copper, gold and silver, and a
prefeasibility study has been completed on the project. Provision
has also been made at the Murchison gold processing facility for
the addition of a base metals circuit.
In the Great Southern, Silver Lake owns the large Kundip
and Munglinup exploration projects covering over 2,500 square
kilometres. Post ramp up of the Murchison in 2013, Silver
Lake will increase regional gold exploration at Kundip with the
view of establishing a third gold mining centre (with potential
copper and silver credits).
In January 2013, Silver Lake completed a merger via a
scheme of arrangement with neighbouring company Integra
Mining to create a large Australian gold producer.
Silver Lake has an ongoing commitment to the communities
in which it operates and works to enhance long-term benefits to
these regions. The company is currently the major sponsor of
the Goldfields Children Charity ball and the Goldfields Giants
state basketball team in the goldfields.
It is with great excitement and energy that we move Silver
Lake into the future with expanded production from multiple
mines and three processing facilities which leads to diversified
risk and returns to shareholders,” concluded Mr Davis.
