Survey: driving collaboration between the resources and education sectors

ESWA, Earth Sciences Western Australia, is seeking information and feedback from resources industry representatives that have an interest in driving collaboration between the resources and education sectors.

The ultimate goal of this industry-funded project is to establish best practice in the design, development and implementation of collaboration to:

  • Further the recognition of earth sciences as an integral part of STEM
  • Improve the quality of the talent pipeline for the industry
  • Increase the awareness of the wide range of career opportunities that earth sciences provide, and
  • Emphasise the importance of earth sciences in understanding contemporary issues.

The WA Mining Club is looking for opportunities to collaborate with ESWA, and as a part of this our members have been invited to complete a short survey (5 to 15 minutes) that will measure levels of collaboration between the two sectors.

While participation is entirely voluntarily, your help would be greatly appreciated. Any information provided will be kept strictly confidential.
