Young Professionals Quarterly Networking Event – June 2019

Event - Young Professionals Quarterly Networking Event – June 2019

Culture – Our Most Precious Resource

The WA Mining Club Young Professionals welcomes you to the second Quarterly Networking Event for 2019. Building on the success of our previous two events (which both sold out!) this will be a fantastic opportunity to network with a broad range of industry professionals, including current and future leaders in mining.

The evening will feature four industry leaders who will highlight the challenges, positive outcomes and necessity of cultural change within the mining industry. These leaders will share their insights as to how a cultural shift in mining can drive value, improve project metrics and help retain employees.

We’re excited to hear from these incredible role models and advocates for the industry, who’ll each share very different experiences and a wealth of knowledge on sustaining positive culture within the industry.

Our inspiring speakers for this event include:

Matt Thompson
Evolution Mining, Metallurgist – Transformation & Effectiveness

Stuart Mathews
Gold Fields Australia, Executive Vice President: Australasia

Sam Retallack
IGO, Head of People and Culture

Yvonne Fahey
Alcoa, Business Improvement Consultant
