A full field of keen sporting players stepped out for the WA
Mining Club’s annual Golf Day in April.
Once again the day was a social and financial success and the
objective of securing funds for the WA Mining Club scholarship
programme was met. The course at Joondalup Resort was in great
shape and the wildlife did not disappoint on many of the greens.
Congratulations to the winning four: Richard Thompson,
Simon Ford, Robin Jones and Abrie Schutte.
The Club wishes to acknowledge sponsors: Hitachi, Alliance
Contracting, Mining and Civil Australia, KSB Australia, Mining
People, Ironclad Resources, Trafford Resources, Rapid Crushing,
Atlas Copco, IMO, Coffee Mining and SGS for their ongoing
support with the Golf Day. It is only through their contribution
that this hugely popular day − which supports our scholarship
programme − can take place.
Thanks to all who played, and to the Joondalup Resort
for hosting this year’s Golf Day. Planning for 2012 is now
well underway, with the aim being to make the day an even
bigger success.
