Bureau delivers a leap in
services to remote Australia
Much of the exploration, construction, production and
rehabilitation undertaken by mining companies in Western
Australia is conducted in remote locations. The work has
also been remote from the type of weather services freely
available to denizens of major towns and cities – until now.
Here to explain the massive increase in forecasting services
offered to remote Australia is the Bureau of Meteorology
Regional Director for WA, Mike Bergin.
