for the opening was Gija woman Deborah Bonar, whose work is
inspired by landscapes, plants and animals of themid-west and east
Kimberley regions and reflects her love of the land and identity as
an Aboriginal woman. The company and the Karntewarranginny
Kurrumuluny Trust Committee additionally provided funding
through the Savannah Co-Existence Community Developments
Program for Deborah to conduct a series of workshops in the
schools, prison camp and in the local community.
Panoramic’s range of philanthropic activities in the broad area
of education, training and mentoring coincides with their belief in
the power of education and making a sustainable difference to the
lives of individuals and communities.
So, what is the future outlook for Panoramic? Mr Harold says
Safety is the number one value. We are also very focused on
getting our costs down and the run rate is there, as we have already
demonstrated. We have to keep converting resources to reserves,
adding to our resource base and supporting the communities in
which we operate within WA”.
The company also expects to complete the feasibility studies on
its gold projects by the end of 2013. “We anticipate the operating
and capital costs to come down, so we will develop these projects
in a different cost environment to that experienced over the past
five years. We are also advancing our platinum group metals
(
PGM) projects with a view to have them ready for development
within the next three years,” Mr Harold said.
