Austmine’s biennial conference returns to Perth, WA in May 2017 with our new theme: Mining’s Innovation Imperative. Austmine’s 2015 conference was one of our most successful to date, bringing together over 600 senior level executives from mining companies, METS, government and research organisations. Across 2 days, 50 speakers shared experience, examples, results and insights into how technology, innovation and collaboration were critical to improving productivity and competitiveness.
The future of the mining industry, both here in Australia and all around the world, depends on the sector’s ability embrace new technologies, to better utilise and fully integrate the systems and technologies we already have and to share ideas and opportunities more transparently. The mining market as we know it has a new norm, which calls for METS, Miners and Research to be more innovative than ever in the way we do business. Austmine’s 2017 conference will address this need through engaging networking functions, exciting new technology showcases, interactive presentations and panel discussions and of course, our highly anticipated awards.
