The WA Mining Club is thrilled to spotlight Philip Loerch as our Member of the Month. Philip, a Principal Mining Engineer at Federation Mining Services, has been a valued member of the club for the past two years. With an impressive 40-year career in the mining industry, Philip’s journey began at 18 when he secured underground work while studying mining engineering.
Philip’s dedication and expertise have earned him admiration from his colleagues, and he fondly recalls his most memorable bosses, Peter Hepburn-Brown and David Quinlivan, for their support and opportunities for growth.
When reflecting on his time with the WA Mining Club, Philip values the supportive network and engaging luncheons that offer fantastic networking opportunities. If given the chance to invite three guests to dinner, Philip would choose his late father, Siegfried, who passed away 35 years ago, to share in his achievements and the impact he’s made in the mining industry.
