modular solutions for mining and beyond
Martin Ives is McNally Group’s Business Development Manager. Martin’s role is to develop existing
relationships and new opportunities to grow and improve the business. Apart from customer development,
Martin focuses on marketing and internal systems to ensure they develop in line with McNally’s client base.
With over 38 years in the construction and building materials industries, Martin believes his knowledge
and experience, combined with the enthusiasm of the young owners of McNally Group, provide a perfect mix
of energy and experience, much needed in today’s competitive marketplace.
Having been with the company for just over two years, the most rewarding achievement for Martin to date
has been his involvement in two large projects for Rio Tinto though Calibre Rail, which were design and
construction projects involving kitchens and support buildings.
Martin was taught early in his career to treat people with honesty and respect. “‘Always treat people the
way you yourself would like to be treated’ were the words of my first employer and these have stayed with
me ever since”, says Martin.
A WAMC member for over two years, Martin tries to attend as many events as possible. He enjoys meeting
like-minded people with a passion for the resource industry.
