Managing Director at Monarch, Cassandra Brennan is responsible for creating the first impression of guests
arriving at an event, through to turning the lights out at the end of the occasion. Consequently, Cassandra is
the first to arrive and the last to leave. The buck stops at her desk.
Cassandra delivers the expertise companies or individuals need in managing events or marketing, with
excellence and integrity. She loves the events industry, remarking: “I never know what each day will bring.
It constantly challenges me and creates a sense of excitement”.
Proud of her work on many events, Cassandra rates the 2012 WA Mining Club Gala Ball ‘Disco’ theme as
a particular career highlight, followed closely by working with the touring party of the band U2, where she
ensured the tour site manager had everything his 100-strong crew required to hold a successful concert.
Cassandra has learned not to make assumptions about people or their expectations. “Be clear about your
intentions, and ensure clients understand what they should anticipate at an event. Good communication is
vital”, says Cassandra.
Through the WA Mining Club, Cassandra enjoys learning about the resources industry’s diverse aspects,
and believes the Club is one of the most welcoming of all Perth’s networking organisations.

marketing strategies.

Cassandra Brennan runs this boutique
business. Vastly experienced in
developing events and conferences,
Cassandra becomes familiar with
a client’s brand, identifies their target
audience and devises suitable event
concepts. She then plans event logistics
and coordinates a host of technical
aspects before, during and after the event.
While it may appear Cassandra has
a team of many staff, she is a sole
operator who secures the people and
entertainment each event requires.
Clients are assured events are fully
tailored to their specific requirements
and budget.
Cassandra has been coordinating
WA Mining Club events for almost
eight years now, whilst other resource-
related events and organisations have
included the Mining Hall of Fame and
the Toll Group.
Although the majority of Monarch’s
clients are in the resources industry,
Cassandra has managed a wide array
of events, from boardroom strategy
meetings, polo tournaments in Sydney,
workshop series in the Pilbara, to
working on the Perth leg of rock group
U2’s world tour.
Cassandra travels Australia-wide
to manage events, including events
and seminars in diverse regional areas.

As part of Monarch’s consultancy arm, she can prepare risk management plans for festivals and events.
