As Business Development Manager, Dean Clements is responsible for developing new business, working
with other divisions and companies within the Sadleirs Group along with agency networks overseas.
In addition, Dean also manages and serves the company’s existing client base, and counts maintaining
a high service level to existing clients while developing new commercial opportunities, such as the
movement of bulk liquids to domestic and international markets, as a key career achievement to date.
Dean’s ability to adapt to changing environments and work in different areas of the business makes him
ideally suited to Sadleirs Logistics, for although the company is large, being family owned it retains the
capacity to be flexible and adjust quickly to change. When challenges do arise in business, Dean believes
that open communication is vital. “Regardless of where issues are encountered within the logistics chain,
the sooner problems are identified, the faster they can be resolved”, says Dean.
A member of the WA Mining Club for two years now, Dean counts the WAMC luncheons as excellent
opportunities for networking and to hear about industry projects, and he is often joined by guests from the industry.
