As AFEX’s Associate Director - WA, Neil Craven visits clients’ businesses and takes responsibility for
personally managing their accounts. Neil’s role is one that works closely with AFEX’s Dealing Desk Manager
–
a position office based and charged with watching the live FX markets to ideally achieve a client’s desired
market rates.
Neil finds his position with AFEX very rewarding because it presents him with plenty of opportunity to share
knowledge. “Being able to educate clients in the many Foreign Exchange products and services that they
might not be aware of prior to meeting with us” has been a highlight for Neil in his time with AFEX to date.
The two-way nature of the development and growth that Neil’s role exposes him to is an aspect he greatly
appreciates, and he loves nothing more than to “listen, learn and share” with his clients. Learning the art
and importance of approaching clients in a highly consultative manner has been one of the most significant
lessons Neil says he has learned in his professional life to date.
There is no debate that Neil is well suited to his role within AFEX as it demands and rewards the highly personalised service and
customer service focus that comes naturally to him.
This is Neil’s third year of membership of the WA Mining Club.
