CPM’s commitment to the local aboriginal traditional owner groups in the Cape Preston area
has seen continuing work in implementing training, employment, business and community
development programs. CPM’s work with these three groups includes the implementation of
Work Ready programs, training and employment programs.
In addition, the company has developed a partnership with Many Rivers Microfinance to
provide small business development support to local indigenous people.
CPM continues its successful involvement with the Clontarf Foundation, which uses
Australian Rules Football as an incentive to help young aboriginal men in areas of personal
development, education and employment.
Beyond its major partnerships, the company supports a range of other community activities
including the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, University of Western Australia’s
