Bladon, a member of the Australasian Promotional Products Association, believes
in continuous improvement, keeping current with the latest products and trends,
and working with training and coaching businesses for staff and systems development.
Martin Wearmouth is Bladon’s General Manager. Being a hands-on person, Martin has performed many roles
within the company, and now manages all operational areas. He likes finding better ways of doing things,
and to make certain Bladon’s staff members have all the resources to perform their roles to the best of
their abilities.
Martin’s first role with Bladon was as purchasing officer in 1997, and as the company grew, he gradually
assumed more responsibility. In 2004 he implemented new computer systems to automate quoting and order
processes, and today continues to ensure the company works as efficiently as possible.
Martin enjoys the wide variety of products the company offers and its diverse range of clients. He considers
one of his greatest lessons learned is the art of reacting quickly to change, and making personal and
professional adjustments to cope if necessary.
A WA Mining Club member for 18 months now, Martin values networking at the Club events. Bladon enjoyed
being a sponsor at last year’s Golf Day event at Burswood Resort.
