Ches Power Group is a dealer for a
range of world-class power products in
the mechanical and electrical field, and
offers a complete system solution for all
power requirements. The Group provides
sales, parts, service, engineering,
project management, full workshop
and machining facilities, and labour
provisions for technical disciplines.
Before its recent acquisition, the former
Ches Diesel and Marine enjoyed a strong
reputation in the service (particularly
marine) industry through three decades
of operation. Now this foundation is
expanded as the current Ches Power
Group provides power products to
broad-ranging industries since its
commencement in May 2013.
The Group has an exciting future
ahead, with plans to expand into new
fit-for-purpose facilities early next year,
and strong alliances with engineering
and resource companies to provide
power solutions in all areas including
power generation, mining equipment,
and oil and gas applications.
Currently WA-based, with clients
including the Australian Defence
Force, transport companies, mining
and exploration companies, and single
operators and owners, the company
intends to expand to Queensland.

The company’s diversity includes working on the propulsion systems for Rottnest Express ferries
to providing and machining components for some of the leading motocross competitors.
Mike Cippitelli is Ches Power Group’s Managing Director. He creates a positive environment for employees
to achieve their roles and in turn provide value to customers. The strategic plans Mike provides will take
the business to a new level of customer service and provision.
Through many years in the power systems business, Mike has accumulated expansive knowledge. He
is also dedicated to customer service, with total accountability in conjunction with the company’s team.
Launching Ches Power Group on 27 May 2013 remains a career highlight for Mike, and he pays tribute
to his business partner, Paul Goodey. With Paul’s courage and conviction in Mike’s abilities, the two men
have successfully progressed the Group, taking on four new dealerships, plus committing to building
the new facility and employing additional personnel during 2013. Mike believes people should focus on
their strengths and ensure they have the support from others to achieve goals and objectives. “The clarity
of the corporate vision must not be understated and needs to be articulated to all”, says Mike.
A member of the WA Mining Club since 2005, Mike was President from 2008 to 2010 and was recognised as Life Member in 2012.
He values the opportunity the Club has given him to “meet some tremendous people within the industry”.
