Shane Maraldo is Chief Executive Officer at David Moss Group. As such, he is responsible for the overall
performance and strategic direction of the group of companies. Shane previously held the position of
Director of Development before being appointed Chief Executive in July 2011.
Prior to joining the David Moss Group, Shane held senior positions in the construction materials, mining
and industrial services, including senior management roles with BIS Industrial Logistics, Hanson Building
Products and Queensland Mines. Shane is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and is also
a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Chief Executive Officer Institute and the
Australian Pipeline Industry Association. He currently sits on a number of company boards.
Shane believes the success of any organisation relies upon its people and an inclusive corporate culture.

A member of the WA Mining Club since 2011, Shane finds the Club’s monthly luncheons a great opportunity

David Moss Group is a privately
owned group of companies that can
trace its heritage back to 1936 when
Robert David-Moss commenced
business in Perth.
Today comprising of five businesses
in the pipe systems and industrial
sectors, David Moss Group
predominantly focuses on the
manufacture and supply of a
comprehensive range of polyethylene
(
PE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
pipe and fittings for clients in the
mining, industrial, civil utilities,
government and agricultural sectors
across Australian and export markets.
Companies within the group operate
a National Association of Testing
Authorities (NATA) accredited test
laboratory to support the plastic pipe
sector. They also operate a registered
training organisation for the welding
of plastic pipe and stock a full range
of high-density PE welding equipment
and protective clothing.
With branches in Perth, Kalgoorlie,
Adelaide and Brisbane, David Moss
Group has a broad base of customers
in the resources sector including
BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Fortescue
Metals Group and Alcoa.
David Moss Group is committed to
