Dave Robinson is Managing Director of EPMS, responsible for the company’s strategic development.
His key focus is to continue building the company’s capabilities and expertise, whilst still maintaining an
active involvement with the company’s projects.
As a team player Dave has always understood the benefit an effective team has on the success of a project.
He is extremely proud of the team at EPMS, not only for their dedication and commitment to clients’ projects,
but also for the part they have played in the success of EPMS as a business.
Dave considers surviving the GFC whilst still reaching planned growth targets as his greatest achievement
at EPMS. It’s no surprise to find out that his most valuable professional lesson learned is to never give up.
Dave has been a member of the WA Mining Club for the past four years, and has established a good number
of industry contacts in that time. Time permitting; he plans to attend more Club functions in the future.

Engineering and Project Management
Services (EPMS) is a multi-disciplined
engineering and project management
consultancy with a reputation for
providing high quality, cost-effective
services to the resources sector.
EPMS specialises in mineral sands,
iron sands, magnetite and base metals,
but the company is not constrained by
its specialities and has in fact been
involved with a number of other studies
and projects outside these areas,
including oil and gas, rare earths
and direct-shipped ore.
The collective knowledge of the
company’s team members allows
it to offer complete project solutions,
from conceptual studies through to
full engineering, procurement and
construction management (EPCM).
Some of its projects have had capital
values exceeding $1 billion, and it
has the capability and systems to
deliver full EPCM projects up to the
$100 million level.
The company has assisted a number
of its growing client base with defining
and scoping their projects. It has
significant experience with developing
and managing testwork programs,
equipment selection and process plant
design. In addition, the project team
is highly proficient in estimating,
scheduling and cost control.
The 30 specialists at EPMS comprise
project management personnel,
engineers, designers and draftsmen.
As individuals they each have many
years of experience in their respective
fields, as a team their open style of
operation has earned the respect of
clients and stakeholders alike.
