With a 250 strong workforce, Fero Group is dedicated to supporting safety in the mining industry
and encouraging its youth to achieve their dreams and develop their talents.
Garth Milton is Fero Group’s Global Sales Manager – Strata Control Systems. He manages the technical
sales team and oversees the full range of customer service activities, budgeting and sales forecasting.
The company maintains a strong culture of customer focus, with central values of quality, flexibility and
reliability. Similarly, Garth has his own commitment to reliable and honest customer service, having had
over 30 years experience, in or servicing mining. Fully supported and given flexibility by Fero Groups’
owners and executive team, Garth has grown one of the strongest technical sales teams in the industry.
A great mentor once told Garth there is no greater asset in your business than your people, and your
degree of success is only made stronger by how you encourage support and empower them to be their best.
He also told Garth that in the sales game, it is not about what you are selling but the people you are
developing relationships with.
Garth has been a member of the WA Mining Club for eight years. He finds the diversity of the membership
and the expanding reach of the Club’s network provides a great platform to expand awareness of the
Fero Group, and to increase his own network of contacts.
