MINEWORKS GROUP
making mining work
,
sustaining through support
Mineworks Group provides mining
support services and products through
four operational areas – wet and dry
equipment hire, maintenance support,
labour hire and agency support. The
wide range of services and experienced
personnel offer integrated, cost effective
solutions that sustain the profitability of
mining, civil and construction enterprises.
Established in 2001, Mineworks had
an initial focus on field service support,
but this rapidly expanded to include
workshop-based refurbishments and
labour support. With a young dynamic
team possessing plenty of drive and
passion to succeed, Mineworks’ catch
phrase – to
Make Mining Work
typifies
their complete service offering.
Heavily focused in the Pilbara region,
Mineworks’ clients spread from
Esperance to Darwin. They include
Thiess, BGC, Aditya Birla, Chubb Fire,
Fortescue Metals Group, Watpac,
Esperance Sea and Land, Ansaldo STS,
Fremantle Port, Rio Tinto, Barrick Gold,
Hampton Mining, Newcrest and
Pybar Mining.
Recently, Mineworks gained Viento
Group as a third party investor. This
represents a very exciting inclusion
to a team that has strong, long-term
relationships with many consumers
within the resources industry. Combined
with strong financial backing, it enhances
the company’s opportunity to offer
comprehensive support to all clientele.

of professional offices, to enable the company’s continued expansion and future growth plans.
As Group Sales and Marketing Manager at Mineworks Group, Adrian Hughes oversees hire equipment
placement and continued availability, client interaction, marketing, brand image and website development.
Ensuring continued growth and profitability for Mineworks are key aspects of Adrian’s role, and he
particularly values being part of a strong senior management team who work together though every
obstacle and diverse change. Adrian prefers to talk less of individual highlights in his time at Mineworks, but
to focus on shared company achievements, as the team support each other to achieve common goals for future
expansion. “We are very lucky to be working with a team that cares about our company, and we all want to
deliver a product or service that exceeds any competitors”, says Adrian.
Transitioning from tradesman to senior management has been a seamless but nonetheless significant step
for Adrian. He reflects: “The learning never stops and I believe that hard work and clear goals can take anyone
to elevated levels in their chosen career path”.
This is Adrian’s fourth year as a WA Mining Club member, and he appreciates the networking opportunities
presented at Club events with a broad range of industry similar people. He also enjoys the information gained
from guest speakers and looking at the industry in different ways.
