Alanna Burton is a Director of Relocatables Australia, and describes herself as a “working director”. She
works to the business plan, overseeing the accounts and financials. Aiming as they do to become the best
company producing the best product available, Alanna’s input into business development, processes and
procedures occurs daily, so that she and fellow director Chris can refine their practises to achieve their
corporate goals. Alanna’s motto is “If it’s worth doing, then do it right!”
Relocatables Australia strives for excellence, with a strong product range and an exciting raft of new,
innovative products nearing completion. Alanna loves working in a company that values relationships
and people; where ideas are important and staff band together to have ‘thinkfests’ to sort out design and
production issues.
Alanna considers, as her greatest achievement to date, working well as a team with husband Chris to set up
the office while also being involved in workshop manufacturing. Alanna believes people are the lifeblood of
an organisation, and the people she works with, their clients and suppliers are all important parts of the value chain. Accordingly,
she views her greatest professional lesson as “value people and develop, manage and sustain relationships”.
Alanna and Chris have been members of the WA Mining Club for a number of years. Alanna thinks the Club provides its members
second-to-none networking and collegiality, and especially enjoys the annual Gala Balls.

Chris and Alanna Burton created
