As UTi’s Regional Director Projects – Asia Pacific, Chris Coles oversees revenue growth of mining and
energy clients across Asia Pacific, including Australia, and leads a business development team pursuing
new business growth and client retention. Strategically Chris supports and develops the division’s
territory whilst seeking new opportunities and driving sales performance.
UTi encourages people to set goals, and success comes through individual ambition and colleague
support. Chris finds the company’s strong culture of helping others and the client focus very rewarding.
Chris’ successful career with UTi in different roles and countries has spanned 17 years. Each progression
is a result of memorable achievements at that time, and Chris is presently working on attaining his greatest
achievement yet! In his experience, life seldom goes to plan, and he advises that when challenges arise,
rather than giving up, you should seek ways to manage the obstacles and never lose sight of your goal.
